Timothy Williams (Walking with the Enemy, I.T., Red Sky, Wild Horses, Diablo) has recently scored the upcoming horror thriller Brightburn. The film is directed by David Yarovesky (The Hive) and stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones, Meredith Hagner. Mark Gunn & Brian Gunn (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island) wrote the screenplay. James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, Super, Slither) and Kenneth Huang are producing the project.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ Score Album Details
Marvel Music will release a score album for James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tyler Bates (300, Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead) who previously scored the first installment in the series. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 21, 2017 and will be available to download on Amazon. As previously reported, a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the film, including an original track co-written by Bates, will be released on the same day. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is written and directed by Gunn and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki and Kurt Russell.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ Soundtrack Details
The details of the soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 have been revealed. The album features the songs from the movie by artists including Fleetwood Mac, Glen Campbell, George Harrison, Electric Light Orchestra, Sam Cooke, Yusuf & Cat Stevens, Looking Glass & more. Also included is the original song Guardians Inferno performed by The Sneepers feat. David Hasselhoff, which was written by the movie’s composer Tyler Bates and director James Gunn, as well as Sweet’s Fox on the Run as featured in the sci-fi adventure’s trailer. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on April 21, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A separate soundtrack featuring Bates’ original score will be announced soon.
‘The Belko Experiment’ Soundtrack Details
The details of the soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Belko Experiment have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, 300, Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead, Sucker Punch). Also included are the songs Yo Vivire (I Will Survive) by Jose Prieto and California Dreamin’ by Gabriela Teran, both of which are already available as digital singles. Tyler Bates is currently recording his score for Marvel Studios’ sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 at Abbey Road Studios in London. Tyler Bates has composed the music for the upcoming horror thriller Keep Watching. The film is directed by Sean Carter and stars Bella Thorne, Ioan Gruffudd, Chandler Riggs, Ioan Gruffudd, Chandler Riggs, Natalie Martinez, Matthew Willig and Leigh Whannell. The movie centers on a family attacked in their home by intruders who play a life-and-death game with mysterious rules. Joseph Dembner has written the screenplay. Nicolas Chartier (The Hurt Locker, Killer Joe) and Craig J. Flores (Charlie Countryman, Fathers & Daughters) are producing the project for Voltage Films, alongside Andrew Rona (Unknown, The Gunman) & Alex Heineman (Non-Stop) for The Picture Company.

Tyler Bates to Score Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’
Director James Gunn has confirmed on his Facebook page that Tyler Bates will be composing the score for Marvel’s upcoming superhero film Guardians of the Galaxy. The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Glenn Close, John C. Reilly, Benicio del Toro, Karen Gillian, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace and Dave Bautista. Vin Diesel is also in talks to join the film’s cast. The movie based on the Marvel Comics characters created by Dan Abnett & Andy Lanning follows a U.S pilot who bands with a group of ex-cons from other planets after he’s thrust in the middle of a universal conflict. Gunn is writing and directing the project and Kevin Feige (The Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, The Incredible Hulk) is producing the movie for Marvel Studios.

The ensemble all-star comedy Movie 43 produced by Peter Farrelly opened nationwide last weekend. Several composers have composed the score of the different comedy shorts within the film. William Goodrum who has previously contributed music for most of the Farrelly Brothers’ features including There’s Something About Mary, Me, Myself & Irene, Shallow Hal and most recently, The Three Stooges has scored the overarching segment The Pitch starring Dennis Quaid, Greg Kinnear & Common, as well as the shorts Homeschooled directed by Will Graham and starring Naomi Watts & Liev Schreiber, The Proposition directed by Steve Carr and starring Anna Faris & Chris Pratt, Veronica directed by Griffin Dunne and starring Emma Stone & Kieran Culkin, Middle School Date directed by Elizabeth Banks and starring Chloe Grace Moretz & Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Victory’s Glory directed by Rusty Cundieff and starring Terrence Howard. David J. Hodge has written the score for the segment Superhero Speed Dating directed by James Duffy and starring Justin Long, Jason Sudekis & Kristen Bell, while Goodrum provided additional music.
