Sean Callery has recently received his 12th Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Main Title Theme Music category for his opening titles music for Showtime’s critically acclaimed original series Homeland. Homeland executive produced by Howard Gordon & Alex Gansa and starring Claire Danes, Damian Lewis, Morena Baccarin, David Harewood, Diego Klattenhoff, Jackson Pace, Morgan Saylor and Mandy Patinkin has received a total of nine Emmy Award nominations.

Fall 2011 Television Music Roundup (Part 6): Cable
In our sixth and final part of our fall television series, we are taking a look at the major new shows on the cable networks:
One of this fall’s most talked about new shows is American Horror Story created by Ryan Murphy & Brad Falchuk and starring Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton, Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Taissa Farmiga and Denis O’Hare. The series has recently received two Golden Globe nominations for Best TV Drama and for Lange’s performance. The show’s score is composed by James Levine who has worked on most of Murphy’s projects in the last decade, including Nip/Tuck, Glee and the feature film Running with Scissors. The drama has also been using a lot of pre-existing score music from composers such as Bernard Herrmann and Alan Silvestri. Sean Callery to Score FOX’s ‘The Finder’ and Showtime’s ‘Homeland’
Sean Callery is set to score the upcoming FOX procedural The Finder. The show is a spin-off of the hit series Bones and is created by Hart Hanson (Bones). The show is set in Key West and centers on man who uses his unique gift to help others recover what they’ve lost. Geoff Stults (She’s Out of My League), Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile) who first appeared in the sixth season of Bones are playing the main characters on the drama. Hanson is executive producing with Dan Sackheim (Lie to Me) and Barry Josephson (Bones). Callery has been scoring Bones since its fourth season in 2008 and will also return the show’s seventh season this fall.
