Alexander Bornstein (First to the Moon, Paradox, The Last Heist, Black Site Delta) has been hired to score the upcoming Netflix animated series Transformers – War for Cybertron: Siege. The show based on Hasbro’s toy franchise is the first part of a trilogy and begins in the final hours of the devastating civil war between the Autobots and Decepticon. The 6-parter follows two leaders, Optimus Prime and Megatron, as they both want to save their world and unify their people, but only on their own terms. Among the series’ voice cast are Jake Foushee (as Optimus Prime), Jason Marnocha (as Megatron), Linsay Rousseau (as Elita-1), Joe Zieja (as Bumblebee), Frank Todaro, Rafael Goldstein, Keith Silverstein, Todd Haberkorn, Edward Bosco, Bill Rogers, Sophia Isabella, Brook Chalmers, Shawn Hawkins, Kaiser Johnson, Miles Luna and Mark Whitten.

‘First to the Moon: The Journey of Apollo 8’ Soundtrack Details
Notefornote Music will release a soundtrack album for the documentary First to the Moon: The Journey of Apollo 8. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alexander Bornstein (Paradox, The Last Heist, Black Site Delta). The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on June 7, 2019. Alexander Bornstein to Score ‘First to the Moon’ & ‘Foreign Exchange’
Alexander Bornstein has been tapped to score the upcoming documentary First to the Moon. The film is directed by Paul J. Hildebrandt (Fight for Space) and tells the story of the Apollo 8 mission and the three men that crewed it. The movie features extensive, all new interview footage with Commander Frank Borman, Lunar Module Pilot Bill Anders and Command Module Pilot Jim Lovell and will contain restored footage from NASA, the national archives, and the astronauts themselves.

Premiering tonight in the U.S. is the British mini-series Prime Suspect: Tennison executive produced by Rebecca Eaton, Camilla Campbell & Robert Wulff-Cochrane and starring Stefanie Martini, Sam Reid, Blake Harrison, Jessica Gunning and Alun Armstrong. The show’s original music is composed by Carly Paradis (Line of Duty, True Justice). Prime Suspect 1973 is a based on Lynda La Plante’s Tennison novel is a prequel to the original Prime Suspect series and centers around a 22-year-old Jane at the start of her career in 1970s London. Alexander Bornstein to Score ‘Incoming’
Alexander Bornstein is set to compose the music for the upcoming sci-fi action thriller Incoming. The film is directed by Eric “Z” Zaragoza and stars Scott Adkins in the lead role. The movie is set on an International Space Station that now serves as a prison and is taken over by the imprisoned terrorists who are turning it into a missile aimed at Moscow. Jorge Saralegui (producer of Queen of the Damned, Showtime & Red Planet) wrote the screenplay based on an original story by himself, as well as the project’s producers Rick Benattar (Shoot ‘Em Up, Ironclad) and Nigel Thomas (The Numbers Station).
Weekly Film Music Roundup (May 5, 2017)
The only movie opening nationwide this weekend is Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki and Kurt Russell. The film’s original score is composed by Tyler Bates (300, Watchmen). Hollywood Records has released two soundtrack albums, including the Awesome Mix Vol. 2 featuring the songs from the movie, as well as score album featuring Bates’ music. Opening in limited release is the comedy drama 3 Generations co-written and directed by Gaby Dellal and starring Elle Fanning, Naomi Watts, Susan Sarandon, Sam Trammell, Linda Emond and Tate Donovan. West Dylan Thordson (Split, Foxcatcher) has composed the film’s original score. Michael Brook composed the original version of the film (entitled About Ray), which premiered at the 2015 Toronto Film Festival. Alexander Bornstein Scoring ‘Black Site Delta’
Alexander Bornstein has composed the score for the upcoming action thriller Black Site Delta. The film is directed by Jesse Gustafson (Day 39) and stars Cam Gigandet, Teri Reeves and Jeremy Sande. The movie follows the leader of a “Dirty Dozen” band of military prisoners who must fight off a terrorist attack on the remote “black site” prison where they’re being held, which, unknown to them, is a cover for a secret drone control facility. Rich Benattar (Shoot ‘Em Up, Ironclad) and Nigel Thomas (The Numbers Station, Kill Ratio) are producing the project.
Christopher Lennertz & Alexander Bornstein to Score ‘Invisible’
Christopher Lennertz and Alexander Bornstein have composed the score for the upcoming virtual reality series Invisible. The show is produced by Jaunt Inc., Condé Nast Entertainment (CNÉ) and the 30 Ninjas team of director Doug Liman (Edge of Tomorrow, The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith) and Julina Tatlock, as well as Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Melisa Wallack (Dallas Buyers Club). The 6-parter revolves around prominent New York City family, the Ashlands, who are blessed with a supernatural gift passed down through generations.
