A soundtrack album will be released for the sci-fi action adventure Skylines. The album features the original music from the third and final installment in the Skyline series composed by Ram Khatabakhsh (Portals, The Hunger Games Exhibition, Transformers Autobots). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Skylines is written and directed by Liam O’Donnell and stars Lindsey Morgan, Jonathan Howard, Rhona Mitra, James Cosmo, Alexander Siddig, Daniel Bernhardt and Cha-Lee Yoon. The movie follows a man who must lead a team of elite mercenaries on a mission to the alien world in order to save what’s left of humanity after a virus threatens to turn the now earth-dwelling friendly alien hybrids against humans. Alex Lacamoire to Serve as Executive Music Producer & Score Composer on Kirk DeMicco’s ‘Vivo’

Alex Lacamoire has composed the original score for the upcoming animated musical Vivo. He also serves as the executive music producer on the movie, which is directed by Kirk DeMicco (The Croods) and features the voices of Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ynairaly Simo, Zoe Saldana, Juan de Marcos, Brian Tyree Henry, Gloria Estefan, Nicole Byer, Michael Rooker, Leslie David Baker, Katie Lowes, Olivia Trujillo and Lidya Jewett. As previously announced, Miranda has written and is performing original songs for the film, which follows a one-of-kind kinkajou who spends his days playing music to the crowds in a lively Havana and makes a treacherous passage to Miami to fulfill his destiny. Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross & Jon Batiste Win Academy Award for ‘Soul’

Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross and Jon Batiste were honored with the Academy Award for their score for Pixar’s Soul at tonight’s 93rd Oscar ceremony. Reznor & Ross have previously received their first Oscar for their music for 2010’s The Social Network and were also nominated this year for their music for David Fincher’s Mank. The composers previously received the Golden Globe, Critic’ Choice Award and BAFTA Award for their work on the animated movie. Check out their acceptance speech after the jump.
