The 3-parter is directed by John Dower (My Scientology Movie, The Mystery of D.B. Cooper) and centers on the shocking murder of French film and TV producer Sophie Toscan Du Plantier who was killed while at her isolated holiday cottage in West Cork, Ireland, in 1996 and that set off an increasingly convoluted quest for justice that spans decades and cuts across national borders. Death Row Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1994 sports drama Above the Rim co-written and directed by Jeff Pollack and starring Duane Martin, Tupac Shakur, Leon Robinson, Marlon Wayans and Wood Harris. The album features the songs from the film, including three bonus tracks that were not included on the original 2xPlatinum best-selling 1994 record: Pain by 2Pac & Stretch, Mi Monie Rite! by Lord G and Loyal to the Game by 2Pac, Treach, & Riddler. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music outlets, including Amazon. The album features the film’s original score composed by Linda Perry (of of the former rock band 4 Non Blondes) (Kid 90, Punky Brewster). Also included is the original song Eden (To Find Love) performed by Bono who also co-wrote the track with Perry.
