Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, The Angry Birds Movie, The Smurfs, Beverly Hills Chihuahua) has recently recorded his score for the upcoming animated feature PAW Patrol: The Movie. The film based on Nickelodeon’s animated series of the same title is directed by Cal Brunker (Escape from Planet Earth) and features the voices of Beckett Hipkiss, Kingsley Marshall, Shayle Simons, Keegan Hedley,Lilly Bartlam & Ron Pard who reprise their characters from the show. They are joined by Iain Armitage, Kim Kardashian, Jimmy Kimmel, Tyler Perry, Randall Park, Dax Shepard, Yara Shahidi, Marsai Martin and Will Brisbin. ‘Small Axe’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Motown Records will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon anthology films series Small Axe. The album features selections of the original score from the movies composed by Mica Levi (Jackie, Under the Skin, Monos), as well as several songs from the series, including two exclusive tracks: Michael Kiwanuka’s rendition of the Nina Simone’s To Be Young, Gifted And Black and Tiana Major9’s cover of Janet Kay’s Silly Games. Also included are spoken word pieces written by poet Linton Kwesi Johnson and performed by himself and cast members Sheyi Cole, Rochenda Sandall, and Shaun Parkes. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 11 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Singer/songwriters Marlon Williams & Mark Perkins (aka Merk) are co-scoring the upcoming New Zealand comedy Juniper. The film is written and directed by Matthew J. Saville and stars Charlotte Rampling, Marton Csokas and George Ferrier. The movie revolves around a self-destructive teenager who gets suspended from school and whose life turns around when he is asked to look after his feisty alcoholic grandmother as a punishment. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tree Adams (The 100, Californication, NCIS: New Orleans, Perception, Swelter). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 25 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music outlets. Belushi is directed by R.J. Cutler (The September Issue) and centers on the too-short life of John Belushi, the once-in-a-generation talent who captured the hearts and funny-bones of audiences worldwide. Harry Escott Wins BAFTA TV Craft Award for ‘Roadkill’

Harry Escott (Shame, Hard Candy, Welcome to the Punch, The Wedding Guest, The English Game) has won his first BAFTA TV Craft Award today for his music for the BBC series Roadkill created by David Hare and starring Hugh Laurie, Helen McCrory, Sidse Babett Knudsen and Saskia Reeves. Devonté Hynes (aka Blood Orange) (Queen & Slim, We Are Who We Are, Mainstream, Palo Alto) is composing the original music for the new season.
