Kaleido Sound has announced a soundtrack album for the Australian sci-fi action movie Occupation: Rainfall. The album features the film’s original music composed by Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, Field of Lost Shoes, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Hangman, Doom: Annihilation). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, June 11 and is now available for pre-order on iTunes/Apple Music. Occupation: Rainfall is written and directed by Luke Sparke and stars Dan Ewing, Temuera Morrison, Ken Jeong, Daniel Gillies, Dena Kaplan, Mark Coles Smith, Jet Tranter, Lawrence Makoare, David Roberts, Vince Colosimo, Zac Garred, Trystan Go, as well as Jason Isaacs as the voice of Steve the Alien. The sequel to Sparke’s original 2018 Occupation film picks up two years into an intergalactic invasion of Earth where survivors are fighting back in a desperate ground war. Maisie Music Publishing has released a soundtrack EP for the Netflix original film Skater Girl. The EP features the songs Maari Chhalangein & Shine On Me written by the composer duo of Salim–Sulaiman (aka Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant), as well as a remix of Shine On Me. Walt Disney Records has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for Touchstone Pictures’ 1987 teen comedy Adventures in Babysitting directed by Chris Columbus and starring Elisabeth Shue, Keith Coogan, Anthony Rapp and Maia Brewton. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Michael Kamen (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Die Hard, X-Men, Band of Brothers, Lethal Weapon), as well as the songs Babysitting Blues performed by Albert Collins, Shue, Maia Brewton, Coogan & Rapp and Just Can’t Stop by Percy Sledge.
