Premiering today is the AMC original series 61st Street created by Peter Moffat and starring Courtney B. Vance, Aunjanue Ellis, Andrene Ward-Hammond, Mark O’Brien, Tosin Cole, Bentley Green, Mark O’Brien and Holt McCallany. The show’s original music is composed by Raphael Saadiq (Lovecraft Country, Insecure, Underground, Black Nativity, The After Party) & Laure Karpman (What If…?, Paris Can Wait, Set It Up, Why We Hate) Check out our scoring assignment announcement to learn more about the drama, which will air every Sunday on AMC.

Premiering on Thursday, April 14, is the Peacock original series Killing It created by Dan Goor & Luke Del Tredici and starring Craig Robinson, Claudia O’Doherty, Scott MacArthur, Stephanie Nogueras, Rell Battle, Wyatt Walter and Jet Miller. Jonathan Sanford (National Champions, As We See It, Teenage Bounty Hunters, Dare Me, Good on Paper) is composing the show’s original music. The film is directed by Emma Cooper (America’s Most Hated Family in Crisis) and explores the mystery surrounding the death of movie icon Marilyn Monroe through previously unheard interviews with her inner circle, offering a new perspective on the fateful night of her tragic death. ‘Fortress’ Soundtrack Album Released

Atlantic Screen Music/Filmtrax has released a soundtrack album for the action thriller Fortress. The album features the film’s original music composed by Timothy Stuart Jones (aka Tim Jones) (Chuck, Human Target, Beast of Burden, Survive the Game, Hide and Seek, Backtrace, Office Uprising). Miles Bergsma (My Fiona) has contributed additional music. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Fortress is directed by James Cullen Bressack and stars Jesse Metcalfe, Bruce Willis, Chad Michael Murray, Ser’Darius Blain, Kelly Greyson and Shannen Doherty. Opening in theaters nationwide this week is the family adventure Sonic the Hedgehog 2 directed by Jeff Fowler and starsring James Marsden, Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, Shemar Moore and Colleen O’Shaughnessey. The film’s original score is composed by Tom Holkenborg (Mad Max: Fury Road, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Deadpool, Godzilla vs. Kong, Alita: Battle Angel). Paramount Music & La-La Land Records have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today (click here for the full album details). Kid Cudi has contributed the original song Stars in the Sky, which has been released by Republic Records (click here for more details and to listen to the track).

Also opening wide is the action thriller Ambulance directed by Michael Bay and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Eiza González. Lorne Balfe (Black Widow, Mission: Impossible – Fallout,  His Dark Materials, The Wheel of Time, The LEGO Batman Movie, Bad Boys for Life, The Crown) has composed the film’s original music.
