Premiering tonight is the HBO original documentary series The Yogurt Shop Murders directed by Margaret Brown about the tragic murder of four teenage girls at an I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt Shop on December 6, 1991 in Austin, TX. The show’s original music is composed by Claudia Sarne (The Book of Eli, Shining Girls, Triple 9, Broken City, Earthquake Bird, Dispatches from Elsewhere). Check out our previous news article to learn more about the 4-parter, which premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival and will air every Sunday on HBO and also will be available to stream on HBO Max.

Premiering on Wednesday, August 6, is the action comedy The Pickup directed by Tim Story and starring Eddie Murphy, Keke Palmer, Pete Davidson, Eva Longoria, Andrew Dice Clay, Jack Kesy, Marshawn Lynch and Ismael Cruz Cordova. Christopher Lennertz (The Boys, Lost in Space, Ride Along, Sausage Party, Tom & Jerry, Agent Carter, Back in Action, Supernatural) has composed the film’s original music. Kat Graham’s Title Song from Lifetime’s ‘If I Run’ Released

Sound Zoo has released the original title song from the Lifetime original movie If I Run. The track is co-written (with Jean-Yves “Jeeve” Ducornet) and performed by Kat Graham (who also stars in the film’s lead role) and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the song after the jump. If I Run is directed by Michael M. Scott and also stars Evan Roderick and Jason Tupper. The drama is based on Terri Blackstock’s book of the same title and follows a woman on the run after discovering her best friend has been murdered and is being tracked down by a war-weary veteran and private investigator with PTSD. Aitor Etxebarria (The Platform 2, Burning Body, The Radio Amateur, Intimacy) has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish HBO original series Rage (Furia). The album features selections of the composer’s original music from the show and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to Etxebarria’s main theme below. Rage is created, written and directed by Félix Sabroso and stars Carmen Machi, Candela Peña, Nathalie Poza, Pilar Castro, Cecilia Roth, Alberto San Juan, Ana Torrent, Claudia Salas, Pedro Casablanc and Pepón Nieto. The satire revolves around five women, a snobbish artist, is a media-loving cook, a high fashion shop assistant, an unemployed mother and a forgotten actress from the erotic cinema of the 70s, as they go to the limit and perpetrate revenge when they are faced with extortion, oppression, deceit, exclusion and manipulation. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the animated sequel The Bad Guys 2 directed by Pierre Perifel and starring Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Anthony Ramos, Awkwafina, Maria Bakalova, Natasha Lyonne, Craig Robinson, Danielle Brooks, Alex Borstein, Richard Ayoade, Zazie Beetz and Lilly Singh. The film’s original music is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-Verse, Birds of Prey, Enola Holmes, Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., King Arthur: Legend of the Sword). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as two songs performed by Rag’n’Bone Man feat. WizTheMc and Busta Rhymes today. Also opening wide is the action comedy The Naked Gun directed by Akiva Schaffer and starring Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson, Kevin Durand, Danny Huston, Paul Walter Hauser, Liza Koshy, CCH Pounder, Cody Rhodes and Eddie Yu. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Black Adam, His Dark Materials, Black Widow, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, Top Gun: Maverick) has composed the film’s original music. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as two songs performed by Neeson and Anderson today. ‘Weapons’ Soundtrack Album Released

WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album for the horror movie Weapons. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ryan Holladay & Hays Holladay (Class Action Park) and director Zach Cregger (Barbarian). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the artists’ first track (Maddie) and main theme after the jump. A vinyl edition & CD version will released by Waxwork Records and will be available to order next week. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film My Oxford Year. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Isabella Summers (aka Isa Machine of Florence + the Machine) (Little Fires Everywhere, Lisa Frankenstein, KAOS, Lady Chatterley’s Lover, Physical, Call Jane, The Offer, Hitpig!). Also included is Laura Welsh’s original song Make It Happen, which has previously been released as a digital single earlier this week. My Oxford Year is directed by Iain Morris and stars Sofia Carson, Corey Mylchreest, Catherine McCormack, Dougray Scott, Harry Trevaldwyn, Esmé Kingdom, Poppy Gilbert and Nikhil Parmar. BMG will release the official soundtrack album for the fantasy epic Red Sonja. The album features the film’s original music composed and produced by Sonya Belousova & Giona Ostinelli (One Piece, The Witcher). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, August 8 (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download) . The lead single, Red Sonja, which draws inspiration from the Gaelic folk song Òran an Ròin, opens with a poignant solo violin and rises into sweeping orchestral power, and is already available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms.
