The movie centers on a rescue mission of a small group of Emirati soldiers trapped by rebel fighters in a mountainous valley. Brandon Birtell and Kurtis Birtell (Medal of Honor) wrote the screenplay. The film is written and directed by Sorkin and stars Nicole Kidman as iconic comedienne Lucille Ball and Javier Bardem as her husband Desi Arnaz. Nina Arianda, J.K. Simmons, Tony Hale, Alia Shwkat, Jake Lacy and Clark Gregg are also starring in the movie, which takes place during a week of production of the classic TV show I Love Lucy and explores the relationship between Ball and Arnaz as they face a set of crises that could end both their careers and their marriage. Air-Edel Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Netflix documentary Convergence: Courage in a Crisis.
