‘Violet’ Soundtrack Album Released

Secret Lodge Recordings has released a soundtrack album for Justin Bateman’s feature directorial debut Violet. The album features the film’s original score composed by VUM. The Violet Sessions is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out audio samples. Violet is written and directed by Bateman and stars Oliva Munn, Luke Bracey and Justin Theroux. The movie revolves around a woman who – after realizing she’s spent years allowing fear to drive every decision she makes – must learn to silence her relentlessly negative inner thoughts in order to regain control over her life. The full details of the soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Eternals have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ramin Djawadi (Games of ThronesWestworld, Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Clash of the Titans, Tom Clancy’s Jack RyanA Wrinkle in Time). Also included is the song Nach Mera Hero performed by Celina Sharma. 22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French thriller Black Tide (Fleuve noir). The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Rémi Boubal (Bigger Than Us, Our Mothers). Black Tide is co-written and directed by Erick Zonca and stars Vincent Cassel, Romain Duris, Sandrine Kiberlain, Élodie Bouchez and Charles Berling. The movie is based on the novel by Dror Mishani and follows a world-weary and disillusioned detective who investigates the disappearance of a boy that sends him on the track of a suspicious teacher. Joseph Bishara (The ConjuringInsidious, Annabelle, Malignant, The Curse of La LloronaThe Unholy) is composing the original music for the upcoming horror thriller Cello. The film is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III & IV, Mother’s Day) and stars Jeremy Irons, Tobin Bell, Samer Ismail and Elham Ali. The movie tells the story of an aspiring cellist who learns that the cost of his brand-new cello is a lot more insidious than he first thought. The album features new music written for the stage musical by Academy Award nominees Alan Silvestri (Marvel’s The Avengers, Forrest Gump, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Cast Away, The Mummy Returns, Captain America: The First Avenger) & Glen Ballard (The Polar Express, The Eddy), as well as songs from the 1985 movie including The Power Of Love, Johnny B. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Pinar Toprak (Captain MarvelKryptonMcMillions, Us Again, Purl, The Angel). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 2 by WaterTower Music and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music platforms. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 last year. Fernando Velazquez (The ImpossibleThe Orphanage, A Monster Calls, Crimson PeakHerculesDevil)  is attached to score the upcoming drama The Movie Teller. The film will be directed by Lone Scherfig (An Education, One Day) and is set to star Bérénice Bejo and Antonio de la Torre. The movie is based on Hernán Rivera Letelier’s novel of the same title and tells the story a young girl growing up in a mining town in the heart of Chile’s Atacama desert during the 1960s, where a movie house represents the sole distraction for hundreds of working class families. 22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French TV series Germinal. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Audrey Ismaël (Gloria, Angel Face, Grown Ups, Chacun pour tous).
