Milan Records has released a soundtrack EP featuring music from the first part of the second season of the Netflix original series Wednesday. The 4-track EP includes the cover versions of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s Bad Moon Rising and The Cranberries’ Zombie from the new season, as well as the original song Nevermore Alma Mater and an arrangement of Sergei Prokofiev’s Dance of the Knights. The soundtrack is now available on most major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to all four tracks after the jump. A24 Music will release a score album for the crime thriller Highest 2 Lowest. The album features the film’s original score composed by Howard Drossin (The Man With the Iron Fists, The Protector, Pass Over, Welcome to Sudden Death, Sonic and the Black Knight). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 15 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A24 Music has released the original title song from Spike Lee’s crime thriller Highest 2 Lowest. Sacred Bones Records will release new soundtrack albums for the 2021 & 2022 slasher sequels Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends co-written and directed by David Gordon Green and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, James Jude Courtney, Judy Greer, Will Patton, Thomas Mann, Anthony Michael Hall, Rohan Campbell and Kyle Richards. Talking Heads’ David Byrne (American Utopia, Here Lies Love) has written and produced three original songs for the upcoming Netflix original animated film The Twits. The songs, entitled We’re Not Like Ev’ryone Else, Lullaby & The Problem Is You, are performed by the movie’s voice cast. In addition, he also co-wrote and -performed the end title song Open the Door with Hayley Williams (of the rock band Paramore).
