Premiering tonight is the Peacock original series Bel-Air based on the classic 80s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and starring Jabari Banks, Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, O Coco Jones, lly Sholotan, Akira Akbar, Jordan L. Jones, Jimmy Akingbola and Simone Joy Jones. The show’s original music is composed by Terrace Martin and Robert Glasper (Miles Ahead, The Photograph). Check out our previous news article to learn more about the Will Smith-produced drama, which will premiere tonight after the Superbowl with three episodes. The rest of the season will debut weekly every Thursday on Peacock.

Premiering on Thursday, February 17, is the Paramount+ animated series Big Nate based on the best-selling children’s books written and drawn by Lincoln Peirce and starring Ben Giroux, Rob Delaney, Dove Cameron, Arnie Pantoja, Daniel MK Cohen, Charlie Schlatter, Bryce Charles, Kevin M Richardson and Carolyn Hennessy. Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Field of Lost Shoes, Occupation: Rainfall, Hangman, Doom: Annihilation) is composing the show’s original music. The Nickelodeon Animation Studios production, which follows an 11-year-old boy and his best friends as they navigate sixth grade with humor and style, will be available to stream on Paramount+. The film is directed by Stephanie Laing (Veep, Dollface) and stars Billy Magnussen, Judy Greer, Sam Richardson, Ann Dowd, Scott MacArthur, Margo Martindale, Henry Winkler, Casey Wilson, June Squibb, Elsie Fisher, Timothy Simons and Jessica Miesel. The movie narrated by Rob Reiner centers on a family that has been divided for years and has to come together when their matriarch dies suddenly, only to discover that not only did she keep some secrets, so did everyone else. Redrocca has released a soundtrack album for the romantic comedy Book of Love. The album features the film’s original songs from the movie composed by Peter EJ Lee & Michael Knowles. Opening in theaters nationwide today is the murder mystery Death on the Nile directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring himself, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Russell Brand, Annette Bening, Emma Mackey, Tom Bateman, Dawn French, Ali Fazal, Rose Leslie, Jennifer Saunders, Sophie Okonedo and Letitia Wright. The film’s original music is composed by Patrick Doyle (Thor, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Cinderella, Sense and Sensibility, Murder on the Orient Express, Brave, Rise of the Planet of the Apes). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Opening wide and also premiering on Peacock today is the romantic comedy Marry Me directed by Kat Coiro and starring Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Maluma, John Bradley, Chloe Coleman, Michelle Buteau and Utkarsh Ambudkar. John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Elf, The Jungle Book, Iron Man 2, Hocus Pocus) has composed the film’s original score. Nami Melumad (An American Pickle, Absentia, The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond) is the score composer of the upcoming Paramount+ original score Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. She has been recording her score for the show’s first season over the last couple of months in Los Angeles. Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Fargo, Legion) has composed the main and end titles music. The Discovery spin-off is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Amazon Music has published an official playlist featuring the songs from the Amazon original movie I Want You Back. Among the artists featured are Marvin Gaye & Mary Wells, Jimmy Durante, Chris Staples, Charli XCX, Sean Paul feat. Dua Lipa, Nick Waterhouse, David Ruffin, Lonnie Russ, Froogle, Deorro, Little Kitty, Slayyter, as well as Taylor Goldsmith (feat. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Colin Stetson (Hereditary, Color Out of Space, The First, Mayday, Barksins). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, February 18 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A vinyl edition is also in the works. A first track (Every Last One) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is directed by David Blue Garcia and stars Sarah Yarkin, Elsie Fisher, Mark Burnham, Jacob Latimore, Moe Dunford, Alice Krige, Olwen Fouéré, Jessica Allain and Nell Hudson. The horror sequel produced by Fede Alvarez follows a group of influencers looking to breathe new life into a Texas ghost town when they encounter Leatherface, an infamous killer who wears a mask of human skin.
