Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the action adventure Uncharted. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, EternalsIron Man, Pacific RimClash of the Titans, A Wrinkle in Time, Warcraft). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A CD version is set to come out overseas next month. Uncharted is directed by Ruben Fleischer and stars Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Tati Gabrielle, Sophia Ali and Antonio Banderas. The movie based on the video game franchise of the same name follows a young street-smart Nathan Drake as he is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Nicola Piovani (Life Is Beautiful, The Tiger and the Snow, The Best Years, The Traitor, Pinocchio, Hungry Hearts). Nicholas Britell (Succession, Moonlight, If Beale Street Could Talk, Don’t Look Up, Cruella, Vice, The Big Short, The Underground Railroad) has been tapped to score the upcoming Disney+ original series Andor. The show is developed by Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton) and stars Diego Luna who will reprise his role of Cassian Andor from 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, as well as Stellan Skarsgard, Denise Gough, Fiona Shaw and Kyle Soller. The movie is based on the second novel of Gregory Mcdonald’s 1970s mystery novel series (which has previously been adapted into the Harold-Faltermeyer-scored 80s features Fletch & Fletch Lives) and stars Jon Hamm, Marcia Gay Harden, Kyle MacLachlan, Roy Wood Jr., John Slattery, Annie Mumolo, Ayden Mayeri and Lorenza Izzo.
