La-La Land Records has announced a soundtrack album for the 1983 sci-fi horror movie Videodrome written and directed by David Cronenberg and starring James Woods, Deborah Harry, Sonja Smits, Peter Dvorsky and Les Carlson. The album features the complete restored original score composed by Academy Award winner Howard Shore (The Lord of the Kings, The Hobbit, The Aviator, The Silence of the Lambs, The Departed, Hugo, Mrs. Doubtfire, Big, Ed Wood), including previously unreleased music. The CD, which is limited to 2,000 copies, will be available to order at noon today on the label’s official website. Camera One, Winds and Gaumont have released a soundtrack album for the French documentary Heart of Oak (Le Chêne). The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Emmy Award winner Cyrille Aufort (March of the Penguins 2: The Next Step, Splice, A Royal Affair, The Other Story, Ombline, Knock) . Also included is the original song Et tu restes written by Tim Dup and arranged by Aufort. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download overseas on all major digital music services. ‘Big Nate’ Theme Song Released

Viacom International has released the theme song from the new Paramount+ animated series Big Nate. The track written by the show’s composer Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Doom: Annihilation, Occupation: Rainfall) and series producer Mitch Watson is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Also available now is the The Butt Cheeks Song from the Big Nate short of the same name (click here to stream/download the track). Also listen to both songs after the jump.
