Premiering on Tuesday, March 29, is the Hulu limited series The Girl from Plainville created by Liz Hannah & Patrick Macmanus  based on a Esquire article by Jesse Barron and starring Elle Fanning, Chloë Sevigny, Colton Ryan, Cara Buono, Kai Lennox and Norbert Leo Butz. The show’s original music is composed by Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli, Triple 9, The Defiant Ones, Broken City) & Nick Chuba (Operation Varsity Blues, Dr. Death). Premiering on Wednesday, March 30, is Marvel’s Disney+ original series Moon Knight developed by Jeremy Slater, directed by Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead and starring Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy. Hesham Nazih (The Blue Elephant, Ibrahim Labyad, Born a King, Tito) has composed the show’s original music. ‘I Am Zlatan’ Soundtrack Released

Paalsund has released a soundtrack album for the biographical drama I Am Zlatan (Jag är Zlatan). The album features the film’s original score composed by Markus Jägerstedt. Also included is the song Ain’t My Fault performed by Mapei, Jägerstedt & Fredrik Okazaki (listen to the full track below). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music stores. I Am Zlatan is directed by Jens Sjörgren and stars Granit Rushiti, Dominic Bajraktari Andersson , Cedomir Glisovic and Merima Dizdarevic. The movie is based on Zlatan Ibrahimović’s autobiography, which he wrote with journalist David Lagercrantz and follows the footballer’s journey from his childhood in a rough suburb of Malmö in Sweden, to becoming one of the greatest players in the world. ‘Mondocane’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Cinevox & GDM Music have released a soundtrack album for the Italian sci-fi thriller Mondocane. The album features the film’s original music composed by Davide Tomat & Federico Bisozzi. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Mondocane is co-written and directed by Alessandro Celli and stars Dennis Protopapa, Giuliano Soprano, Alessandro Borghi, Barbara Ronchi, Federica Torchetti and Ludovica Nasti. Weekly Film Music Roundup (March 25, 2022)

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the adventure comedy The Lost City directed by Adam Nee & Aaron Nee and starring Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Brad Pitt, Patti Harrison, Oscar Nuñez and Bowen Yang. The film’s original score is composed by Pinar Toprak (Captain Marvel,  Us Again, Stargirl, Krypton, The Angel, McMillions). Paramount Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as three original songs written by Cheche Alara today. La-La Land Records will release a CD version next week. Also opening wide is the survival drama Infinite Storm ddrected by Małgorzata Szumowska and starring Naomi Watts, Billy Howle, Denis O’Hare and Parker Sawyers. Lorne Balfe (Black Widow, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, His Dark Materials, The Wheel of Time) has composed the film’s original score. The indie-pop duo Beach House (Victoria Legrand & Alex Scally) have made their feature scoring debut on the upcoming Netflix original film Along for the Ride. The movie is written and directed by Sofia Alvarez (who scripted the streamer’s To All the Boys films) and stars Emma Pasarow, Belmont Cameli, Andie MacDowell, Dermot Mulroney, Kate Bosworth, Laura Kariuki, Marcus Scribner, Genevieve Hannelius, Samia Finnerty, Ricardo Hurtado and Paul Karmiryan. The teen drama is based on Sarah Dessen’s bestselling YA novel a follows a studious teenage girl who meets a mysterious, fellow insomniac who helps her experience the carefree life she was missing during the summer before college. The digital single features the film’s original score composed by Nami Melumad (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds & Prodigy, An American Pickle, Absentia, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window) and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Back Lot Music has released the new cover version of Traffic’s Feelin’ Alright from DreamWorks Animation’s feature The Bad Guys. The track (originally written by Dave Mason) is produced by Wendy Wang (Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.) and performed by Elle King and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Nico Muhly (The Reader, Kill Your Darlings, , Margaret, Worth, Howards End, The Humans, Joshua). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download exclusively on Apple Music/iTunes and will be added to other digital music services (including Amazon) in the coming weeks. Music.Film Recordings & Lakeshore Records have released a soundtrack album for the ITV series The Ipcress File. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Tom Hodge (The Mauritanian, McMafia, Pump, Je Suis Karl, Rise of the Nazis). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The Ipcress File is written by John Hodge based on the novel of the same name by Len Deighton and stars Joe Cole, Lucy Boynton, Tom Hollander and Ashley Thomas. The 6-part spy thriller is set in the 1960s amid the atmosphere of the Cold War and follows a British army sergeant on the make in Berlin whose interests bring him into contact with everything and everyone – until the law catches up with him and it all comes crashing to a halt.
