Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ animated shorts series Baymax! The album features the show’s original music composed by Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Peter Rabbit, Bullet Train, The King’s Man, DuckTales, Monsters at Work, Money Monster). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 29 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Baymax! is created by Don Hall based on his 2014 movie Big Hero 6 and features the voice talent of Scott Adsit, Ryan Potter, Maya Rudolph, Lilimar, Zeno Robinson, Emily Kuroda and Jaboukie Young-White. The show is written by George Kay (Lupin, Criminal) based on Michael Bilton’s book Wicked Beyond Belief: The Hunt for the Yorkshire Ripper and stars Daniel Mays, Katherine Kelly and David Morrissey. The series centers on one of the most notorious and shocking serial killer cases in the world, the hunt for Peter Sutcliffe, dubbed the Yorkshire Ripper, between October 1975 and January 1981. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1988 fantasy adventure Willow directed by Ron Howard and starring Warwick Davis, Val Kilmer, Joanne Whalley, Billy Barty and Jean Marsh. The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the Lucasfilm production composed and conducted by James Horner (Titanic, Avatar, Braveheart, A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13, Aliens, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan), including around 30 minutes of previously unreleased music.
