Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, The Batman, Jurassic World, The Incredibles, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) has confirmed that he is scoring Marvel Studios’ upcoming Halloween special Werewolf by Night. The composer is also directing the project, which stars Gael García Bernal in the title role of Jack Russell, as well as Laura Donnelly, Harriet Sansom Harris and Eugenie Bondurant. Disney announced at this weekend’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, California that singer/songwriter Julia Michaels will compose the original songs for the upcoming animated musical Wish. The film directed by Chris Buck (Frozen, Tarzan) & Fawn Veerasunthorn stars Ariana DeBose and explores how the iconic wishing star came to be. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror movie Barbarian written and directed by Zach Cregger and starring Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård, Justin Long,Matthew Patrick Davis, Richard Brake, Kurt Braunohler and Jaymes Butler. The film’s original music is composed by Anna Drubich (Fear Street Part 3 – 1966, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Werewolves Within). No soundtrack album has been announced. Also opening wide is the historical action drama Medieval written and directed by Petr Jákl and starring Ben Foster, Sophie Lowe, Matthew Goode, Til Schweiger and Michael Caine. Philip Klein (Wish Dragon, The Last Full Measure, Pig) has composed the film’s original music. MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. ‘Central Park’ Season 3 Soundtrack Album Announced

Hollywood Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original animated series Central Park. The album features the original songs from the show’s third season written by returning songwriters Elyssa Samsel & Kate Anderson, Regina Spektor, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, as well as new additions Open Mike Eagle, Mike Shinoda, Germaine Franco, Ester Dean, Helen Park and Garfunkel & Oates. The first twelve songs from the first three episodes of the new season are now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for the psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon, The Bourne Identity, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Happy Feet, Bolt, X-Men: The Last Stand). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, September 16 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. A CD and vinyl edition is also in the works. Don’t Worry Darling is directed by Olivia Wilde and stars Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Wilde herself, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne and Chris Pine. Amazon Content Services has released the latest soundtrack album for the Amazon original series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The album features the original music from the third episode (entitled Adar) of the show’s first season composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Outlander, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, The Walking Dead, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Battlestar Galactica). The soundtrack is now available to stream exclusively on Amazon Music and is set to debut on other digital music stores following the premiere of the season finale in October.
