Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the period comedy drama Babylon written and directed by Damien Chazelle and starring Margot Robbie, Diego Calva, Brad Pitt, Jovan Adepo, Lukas Haas, Jean Smart, Li Jun Li, Tobey Maguire, Samara Weaving and Olivia Wilde. The film’s original music is composed by Justin Hurwitz (La La Land, First Man, Whiplash). Interscope Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score earlier this month. Already playing in theaters nationwide since this past Wednesday is the animated sequel Puss in Boots: The Last Wish directed by Joel Crawford and starring Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Olivia Colman, Samson Kayo, Wagner Moura, Anthony Mendez, Florence Pugh and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Minions, The Smurfs, The Angry Bird Movie, Smallfoot) has composed the film’s original score. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the songs from the movie last week.
