La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1964 James Bond movie Goldfinger directed by Guy Hamilton and starring Sean Connery, Honor Blackman, Gert Fröbe, Shirley Eaton, Harold Sakata and Tania Mallet . The 60th Anniversary Edition album features the remastered and re-sequenced (into film order) original score from the movie composed and conducted by by Academy Award winner John Barry (Dances with Wolves, Out of Africa, Somewhere in Time, The Man with the Golden Gun, Octopussy, Body Heat). Also included is the title song written by the composer, featuring lyrics by Leslie Bricusse & Anthony Newley and performed by Shirley Bassey, including an alternate mono mix of the track. Scott Salinas (Warrior, A Private War, Cartel Land, Full Swing, Tiger, City of Ghosts) is reuniting with director George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau) on the upcoming sci-fi thriller Elevation. The film starring Anthony Mackie, Morena Baccarin, Maddie Hasson & Danny Boyd Jr. is set in the post-apocalyptic Rocky Mountains and follows a single father and two women as they venture from the safety of their homes to face monstrous creatures to save the life of a young boy. The details of the soundtrack album for Robert Eggers’ gothic horror movie Nosferatu have been announced. The album features the film’s original music composed by Robin Carolan who previously co-scored Egger’s last feature, The Northman. The soundtrack will be released as a vinyl edition in different variants and as a 2-CD set by Sacred Bones Records & Waxwork Records on November 22 and is now available for pre-order in both formats on Amazon. Back Lot Music will release the digital version (click here to stream/download). As previously reported, two first tracks have already been released today. Nosferatu is written and directed by Eggers and stars Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Emma Corrin, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney and Willem Dafoe.
