Premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday, February 15, is the British horror series Red Rose written by Paul & Michael Clarkson and starring Amelia Clarkson, Isis Hainsworth, Ellis Howard, Natalie Blair, Natalie Gavin and Ali Kahn. The show’s original music is composed by Tim Morrish (Code 404, Pili) & Jessica Jones (The Tinder Swindler, Our Universe, The Surgeon’s Cut). Manners McDade has released soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score last summer when the series premiered in the UK on BBC Three. Click here for the full album details. The show is making its worldwide debut on Netflix.

Premiering on Thursday, February 16, is the third season of the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Picard created by Alex Kurtzman, Kirsten Beyer, Akiva Goldsman & Michael Chabon and starring Patrick Stewart, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Gates McFadden, Michelle Hurd, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan and Ed Speleers. ‘The Mountain’ (‘La Montagne’) Soundtrack EP Released

Lumière Noire Records has released a soundtrack EP for the French adventure drama The Mountain (La montagne). The 6-track EP features the film’s original music composed by Chloé Thévenin (Arthur Rambo, A Decent Man). Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the soundtrack. The Mountain is co-written and directed by Thomas Salvador and stars Salvador himself, Louise Bourgoin, Martine Chevallier, Andranic Manet, Laurent Poitrenaux and Sylvain Frendo. The movie follows a Parisian engineer who decides to leave his everyday life behind and set up a bivouac in the French Alps, where he discovers a shifting luminescence in the darkness and sets out to get to the bottom of the mysterious phenomenon. Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The LEGO Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Croods: A New Age, 21/22 Jump Street) is the composer of the new Apple TV+ original series Hello Tomorrow!. The show is created by Amit Bhalla & Lucas Jansen and stars Billy Crudup, Haneefah Wood, Alison Pill, Dewshane Williams, Nicholas Podany, Hank Azaria, Matthew Maher and Jacki Weaver. The dramedy is set in a retro-futuristic world and follows a charismatic salesman as he leads a team of fellow sales associates determined to revitalize their customers’ lives by hawking timeshares on the moon. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the comedy drama Magic Mike’s Last Dance directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Channing Tatum, Salma Hayek, Ayub Khan Din, Jemelia George, Juliette Motamed and Vicki Pepperdine. The movie doesn’t feature an original score. Season Kent is the film’s music supervisor. Keep Cool & RCA Records have released the song Careful co-written and performed by Lucky Daye today. Opening in select theaters today is the horror thriller Consecration co-written and directed by Christopher Smith and starring Jena Malone, Danny Huston, Thoren Ferguson, Will Keen and Janet Suzma. Nathan Halpern (The Rider, Emily the Criminal, Watcher, Swallow, Minding the Gap) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows a woman who goes to the Mount Saviour Convent in Scotland to find out what happened to her priest brother after he died, is being released by IFC Films. Netflix Music has released two songs from the South Korean Netflix original series Love to Hate You. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms are the tracks Sweet Dreams performed by (G)I-DLE members Miyeon & Yuqi, as well as Lovey Dovey performed by TAEIL. Also listen to both tracks after the jump. Love to Hate You is created by Kim Jeong-kwon & Choi Soo-young and stars Kim Ok-vin, Yoo Teo, Kim Ji-hun and Go Won-hee. The romantic comedy, which centers on the relationship between an attorney who despises losing to men and an A-list actor who distrusts women, just premiered today on Netflix. The film marks the live-action directorial debut of Carlos Saldanha (Rio, Ice Age: The Meltdown) and stars Zachary Levi, Zooey Deschanel, Lil Rel Howery, Ravi Patel, Camille Guaty, Pete Gardner and Tanya Reynolds. The movie is based on Crockett Johnson’s 1955 children’s book of the same name and tells the story of a curious four-year-old who – with his purple crayon – has the power to create a world of his own. Walt Disney Records has released the first soundtrack album for the Disney Channel animated series Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. The album features the songs from the first season of the show, including the theme song Moon Girl Magic written and produced by executive music producer Raphael Saadiq (Lovecraft Country, Insecure, Underground, Black Nativity) and performed by series star Diamond White. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A (green) cassette version is available to order here. Mercury Classics Soundtracks & Score will release the official soundtrack album for the British romantic comedy What’s Love Got to Do with It?. The album features the film’s original score composed by Nitin Sawhney (The Namesake, Breathe, Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, Traitors, Lila Says, A Girl from Mogadishu). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version will be coming out on March 31 and is available to order here. Already available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms is Mahi Sona (AKA The Wedding Song) co-produced by Sawhney & Naughty Boy (listen to the track below).
