Songwriter, record producer and composer Guy Chambers (best known for his work with Robbie Williams) and lyricist Amy Wadge (who won a Grammy Award for co-writing Thinking Out Loud with Ed Sheeran) have been hired to compose the original music and songs for the upcoming animated musical The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland. The film is directed by Peter Baynton (The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse) and features the voices of Emilia Clarke, Gerard Butler and Simone Ashley. The movie is based on Carys Bexington’s bestselling book of the same title, which mashed up Lewis Carroll’s classic Alice in Wonderland and Clement Clarke Moore’s poem Twas the Night Before Christmas. The full details of the second soundtrack album for Lucasfilm’s Disney+ Star Wars original series The Acolyte have been revealed. The album features the original music from the final four episodes (Episodes 5-8) of the show’s first season composed by Michael Abels (Get Out, Us, Nope, Bad Education, The Burial, Landscape with Invisible Hand, See You Yesterday, Breaking). Also included is the original end credits song Power of Two co-written (with D’Mile & Abels) and performed by Victoria Monet (previously released as a digital single). The Vol. 2 soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 19 by Walt Disney Records (visit Amazon or any other major digital music servicesto stream/download). Fifth Season Music & Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ limited series Lady in the Lake. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Marcus Norris (Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul., Summer of Violence).
