The details of the first volume of the soundtrack album for fifth season of the Netflix original series Stranger Things have been revealed. The album features eight songs from the first four episodes of the show’s final seasons, including Michael Jackson’s Rockin’ Robin, ABBA’s Fernando, The Psychedelic Furs’ Pretty in Pink, The Chordettes’ Mr. Sandman, Yello’s Oh Yeah, Tiffany’s I Think We’re Alone Now, The Chords’ Sh-Boom and Freddy Martin and His Orchestra’s To Each His Own. The Volume 1 soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 28 by Legacy Recordings (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). The Volume 2 album will be coming out on December 26 and the Volume 3 soundtrack featuring the songs from the series finale will be released on January 1, 2026. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the British romantic period thriller Desperate Journey. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, Still Alice, Layer Cake, MobLand, Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, House of Guinness, The Young Victoria, Kick-Ass). Also included are several jazz tracks by Csengery Dániel, as well as actress Clara Rugaard’s renditions of A Spell on You and Made This Way. The cover art of the vinyl edition of the soundtrack album for James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash has been revealed. The album featuring the film’s original score composed by Simon Franglen (Avatar: The Way of Water, The Magnificent Seven, Avatar: World of Pandora), as well as the original song Dream As One performed by Miley Cyrus, will be released on vinyl on January 30. 2026 by Hollywood Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Director Shawn Levy (Deadpool vs. Wolverine, Night at the Museum) has revealed in a recent interview on the On Film…With Kevin McCarthy podcast that Thomas Newman (The Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, Finding Nemo, 1917, Skyfall, Road to Perdition, Wall-E, Bridge of Spies) is set to compose the music for the upcoming feature Star Wars: Starfighter. The film is directed by Levy and stars Ryan Gosling, Flynn Gray, Matt Smith, Mia Goth, Simon Bird, Aaron Pierre, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings & Amy Adams. ‘King Solomon’s Mines’ 40th Anniversary Remastered Edition Soundtrack Album Announced

La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1985 action adventure King Solomon’s Mines directed by J. Lee Thompson and starring Richard Chamberlain, Sharon Stone, Herbert Lom and John Rhys-Davies. The album features the newly remastered original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Planet of the Apes, Gremlins, Patton, Basic Instinct, The Mummy, L.A. Confidential, Chinatown). The 40th Anniversary Remastered Edition is being released as a 2-CD set (limited to 1,000 copies) and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples.
