The full details of the score album for the first part of the film adaptation of the stage musical Wicked have been revealed. The album features the movie’s original score composed by John Powell (How to Train Your DragonThe Bourne Identity, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Happy FeetShrek, Don’t Worry Darling, Bolt, X-Men: The Last Stand) and Stephen Schwartz (The Prince of EgyptPippin, Pocahontas). The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 6 by Republic Records & Verve Label Group and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Arrival at Shiz University) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. The original soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie was released last Friday. Wicked is directed by Jon M. Chu and starring Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, Bowen Yang, Ethan Slater and Keala Settle. The film was released last weekend by Universal Pictures and is now playing in theaters nationwide.
