Prime Video has announced the track list of the soundtrack album for the second season of the streamer’s original series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The album features selections of the original score from Season 2 composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Outlander, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day). as well as two new songs featuring vocalists Rufus Wainwright and Jens Kidman. Series stars Sophia Nomvete, Benjamin Walker, Rory Kinnear & Daniel Weyman also lend their vocals to several tracks on the soundtrack, which will be released digitally on August 23 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Mutant will release a CD and vinyl edition, which are both now available for pre-order here. Venice Music has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Let Me Be Me. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jackson Greenberg (Cartel Land, City of Ghosts, Madu, AKA Jane Roe, Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On). Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the psychological thriller Trap written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan and starring Josh Hartnett, Ariel Donoghue, Hayley Mills and Allison Pill. The film’s original score is composed by Herdís Stefánsdóttir (Knock at the Cabin, Y: The Last Man, The Sun Is Also a Star, The Essex Serpent, We’re Here). Saleka (who stars as the fictional pop star Lady Raven) has contributed the project’s original songs. Columbia Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs today. YouTuber, musician and actor Rudy Mancuso is set to score the upcoming indie horror movie Woozy. The film is written and directed by Joey Bicicchi and will star Emile Hirsch as a man who has deliberately structured his life, through meditation, yoga, nutrition, boxing, and hygiene, to create a safe environment, when a horrifying apparition (the titular Woozy) appears to torment him. Keith Kjarval (Dragged Across Concrete, What They Had Rudderless) is producing the project for Unified Pictures, alongside Lalit Bhatnagar for Imagination Infinite, as well as Gary Michael Schultz.
