Premiering on Wednesday, November 13, is the Netflix original film Hot Frosty directed by Jerry Ciccoritti and starring Lacey Chabert, Dustin Milligan, Katy Mixon Greer,  Sherry Miller, Lauren Holly,Chrishell Stause, Dan Lett, Matthew Stefiuk, Heleene Lohan Cameron, Bobby Daniels, Sarah Desouza-Coelho, Allan Royal, Joe Lo Truglio and Craig Robinson. The movie’s original music is composed by Ari Posner ( Anne with an “E”, Flashpoint, Carter, The End of Sex, Johnny Test, Northern Rescue). Premiering on Thursday, November 14, is the Prime Video original series Cross created by Ben Watkins based on James Patterson’s Alex Cross books and starring Aldis Hodge, Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford and Ryan Eggold. Ali Shaheed Muhammad & Adrian Younge (Luke Cage, Sugar, Run This Town, Boogie, Reasonable Doubt, Power Book III: Raising Kanan) have composed the show’s original music. Polydor Records has released the original opening titles song This Is Who I Am from the Peacock/Sky original series The Day of the Jackal. The track written and performed by Celeste (and produced by Beach Noise) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. ‘Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light’ Soundtrack Album Details

Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC/PBS Masterpiece series Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed and conducted by Debbie Wiseman (Wilde, Dickensian, Adventures of Arsene Lupin, Vampire Killers, Father Brown, Haunted, Flood) and performed by The Locrian Ensemble of London. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically (on CD) on December 13. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD version. The label has previously released an album featuring Wiseman’s score from the original 2015 Wolf Hall series. Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light is adapted for television by Peter Straughan and stars Mark Rylance, Damian Lewis, Jonathan Pryce, Kate Phillips, Harriet Walter, Lilit Lesser, Thomas Brodie-Sangster,  Timothy Spall, Harry Melling, Alex Jennings and Charlie Rowe. The 6-parter directed by Peter Kosminsky is based on the final novel in Hilary Mantel’s trilogy and tells the continuing story, post the execution of Anne Boleyn, of Thomas Cromwell and his complex relationship with Henry VIII. ‘Arcane: League of Legends’ Season 2 (Vol. 1) Score Album Released

Riot Games has released the first score album for the second season of the Netflix animated series Arcane. The album features the original score from Act I of Season 2 composed by Alexander Temple, Alex Seaver, as well as Andrew Kierszenbaum. The Vol. 1 soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the first track (by Temple feat. Kelci Hahn) after the jump. Two more volumes will be released over the next two weeks, November 16 & 23.  To be released separately on November 25 (with several tracks already out now) will be an album featuring the songs from the new season. Arcane is created by Christian Link & Alex Yee based on the League of Legends Game and features the voices of Hailee Steinfeld, Ella Purnell, Katie Leung, Amirah Vann, Reed Shannon, Mick Wingert, Ellen Thomas and Brett Tucker. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror thriller Heretic written and directed by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods and starring Hugh Grant, Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East. The film’s original music is composed by Chris Bacon (Source Code, Wednesday, Bates Motel, Men in Black: International, Gnomeo & Juliet, 65, The Tick) . A24 Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday. Click here for the full album details. The label has also released a digital single featuring Thatcher’s cover of Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door as featured during the movie’s end credits. Also opening nationwide is the family holiday comedy dram The Best Christmas Pageant Ever directed by Dallas Jenkins, narrated by Lauren Graham and and starring Judy Greer, Pete Holmes and Molly Belle Wright. Dan Haseltine & Matthew S. Nelson (The Chosen, The Shift) have composed the film’s original score. No word on a score release. Warner Music Nashville has released Blake Shelton’s cover of Go Tell It On the Mountain from the movie last month. Hollywood Records has released the original song A Friend Like Me from the Hulu original movie Mr. Crocket. The track written by the film’s composer Alex Winkler (Molli and Max in the Future, The Girl Who Left Home), featuring lyrics by director Brandon Espy and performed by actor Elvis Nolasco (who stars in the title role) and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
