Les Films 13 has released the first-ever soundtrack album for the 2002 French/British romantic thriller And Now Ladies & Gentlemen co-written and directed by Claude Lelouch and starring Jeremy Irons, Patricia Kaas, Thierry Lhermitte and Alessandra Martines. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Michel Legrand (The Thomas Crown AffairSummer of ’42, Yentl, Never Say Never Again, The Umbrellas of Cherbourg). Walt Disney Records has announced the premiere vinyl release of the soundtrack for the 2000 animated classic The Emperor’s New Groove directed by Mark Dindal and starring David Spade, John Goodman, Patrick Warburton, Eartha Kitt and Wendie Malick. The album features the film’s original songs written by Sting & David Hartley, as well as six tracks from the animated faeture’s original score composed by John Debney (The Jungle Book, Hocus Pocus, The Passion of the Christ, Elf, Iron Man 2) . The soundtrack, which is being released to coincide with the movie’s 25th anniversary, will be released as 2-LP set pressed on lemonade and grape color vinyl on November 14 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Palmbomen II (aka Kai Hugo). Also included is the original song Forever Pour Toujours written and produced by Hugo and performed by Famke Janssen as Betty Jonkers (previously released as a digital single).
