Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1979 sports drama Rocky II written and directed by Sylvester Stallone and starring Stallone himself, Talia Shire, Burt Young, Carl Weathers and Burgess Meredith. The album features the film’s expanded original score from the second installment in the Rocky feature series composed by Academy Award winner Bill Conti (The Right Stuff, The Karate Kid, For Your Eyes Only, The Thomas Crown Affair, Masters of the Universe), including minutes of previously unreleased music. The CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release.
