Lionsgate Records has released a soundtrack album for Kim Jee-Woon’s action thriller The Last Stand. The album features the film’s original score composed by Mowg who previously collaborated with the director on 2010’s I Saw the Devil. The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. The Last Stand starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Forest Whitaker, Johnny Knoxville, Luis Guzman, Rodrigo Santoro, Zach Gilford, Jaimie Alexander, Genesis Rodriguez and Peter Stormare follows a sheriff of a quiet US border town who is preparing to make a last stand to intercept a notorious drug baron from crossing the border. Trevor Morris to Score New Season of ABC’s ‘Body of Proof’

Trevor Morris has taken over scoring duties on the ABC drama Body of Proof. The composer is scoring the third season of the show starring Dana Delaney as neurosurgeon-turned-Medical-Examiner Dr. Megan Hunt who is on a quest to find justice for the dead and prevent harm to the living. Daniel Licht (Dexter) has scored the previous two seasons. Body of Proof co-stars Jeri Ryan, Mark Valley, Geoffrey Arend, Windell D. Middlebrooks, Elyes Gabel and Mary Mouser. Creator Christopher Murphey (writer of The Karate Kid remake) is executive producing the series with Matthew Gross (Across the Universe) and Evan Katz. Laurent Eyquem to Score ‘Tokarev’

Laurent Eyquem has been tapped to score the upcoming action thriller Tokarev. The film will be directed by Spanish filmmaker Paco Cabezas and is set to star Nicolas Cage as a reformed criminal searching for his daughter who has been kidnapped by the Russian mob. Sean Keller and Jim Agnew (Giallo) have written the screenplay and Richard Rionda Del Castro (Casino Jack, The Son of No One) will produce for Hannibal Classics in association with North by Northwest Entertainment. Cage, Keller and Agnew are also executive producing the project with Patricia Eberle, Richard Salvatore, Mike Nilon, Hayley Magouirk, Cam Cannon, David Milner and Martin Barab. Mercer Street Records will release the official soundtrack album for the History Channel’s mini-series The Bible. The album features the series’ original score composed by Hans Zimmer & Lorne Balfe and featuring vocals by Lisa Gerrard. The soundtrack will be released on March 5, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips from the score below. The Bible created and executive produced by Mark Burnett & Roma Downey will cover the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, including stories from Noah’s Ark and the Exodus to Daniel in the Lion’s Den to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Downey is starring in the mini-series alongside Diogo Morgado, Sean Teale, David Rintoul, Amber Rose Revah, Peter Guinness, Greg Hicks and Simon Kunz. Lionsgate Records has released a score album for the zombie romance Warm Bodies. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-winning composers Marco Beltrami (Scream, 3:10 to Yuma) and Buck Sanders (The Hurt Locker, Max Payne). The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. Warm Bodies is directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50) and stars Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, Rob Corddry, Dave Franco, Analeigh Tipton and John Malkovich. The movie based on the novel by Isaac Marion about a zombie who rescues a girl from an attack and inadvertently sparks a cross-dead romance is now playing in theaters nationwide. Dave Porter is scoring the upcoming ABC drama Red Widow. The show created by Melissa Rosenberg (Twilight series, Dexter) is based on the 2010 Dutch drama Penoza. The series stars Radha Mitchell as a housewife who is forced to continue the work of her organized crime husband after he is assassinated in a drug-related incident. Sterling Beaumon, Clifton Collins Jr., Luke Goss, Suleka Mathew, Erin Moriarty, Jaime Ray Newman, Jakob Salvati, Lee Tergesen, Wil Traval, Rade Serbedzija and Goran Visnjic are co-starring. Rosenberg is executive producing the ABC Studios production with Howard Klein (The Office, Parks & Recreation) and Alon Aranya. Bruno Coulais to Reunite with Henry Selick on ‘The Shadow King’

Bruno Coulais is reteaming with director Henry Selick (Nightmare Before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach) on his upcoming stop-motion animated film The Shadow King. The film features the voice talent of Brendan Gleeson, Catherine O’Hara, Pamela Adlon, Jeffrey Tambor & Jaden Betts and follows a nine-year-old New York orphan who hides his fantastically weird hands with long fingers from a cruel world. When a living shadow girl teaches him to make amazing hand shadows that come to life, his hands become incredible weapons in a shadow war against a ravenous monster bent on killing his brother and ultimately destroying New York. Selick is writing and directing the project and Josh Penn (Beasts of the Southern Wild) is producing. Coulais has previously scored the director’s Academy Award-nominated animated film Coraline. No word yet on a release date yet for The Shadow King.
‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’ Soundtrack Details

La-La Land Records has announced the details of the new soundtrack release for the sci-fi series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The 4-CD set features selections from all seven original seasons of the show. The first disc includes music of composer Dennis McCarthy (Star Trek: Generations); the second disc features the music of composer Jay Chattaway; composers featured on the fourth disc include John Debney (The Passion of the Christ, Iron Man 2), David Bell, Richard Bellis, Gregory Smith and Paul Baillargeon and the fourth disc entitled The Lost Album contains an album assembly of material that was prepped by music producers and the composers for a soundtrack compilation that was never released. The Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Collection is limited to 3000 copies and is now available for pre-order on La-La Land’s website, where you can also check out audio clips.

Roba Digital will release a soundtrack album for the mini-series Titanic: Blood & Steel. The album features the original score from the series composed by Maurizio De Angelis. The album features the film’s original score composed by Brian Tyler (The Expendables, Eagle Eye, Fast Five). John Dies at the End is directed by Don Coscarelli and stars Paul Giamatti, Chase Williamson, Rob Mayes, Clancy Brown, Glynn Turman, Doug Jones, Daniel Roebuck, Jonny Weston and Fabianne Therese. Tyler has previously scored the director’s last feature Bubba Ho-Tep.
