The movie is set in the Civil War and follows three Southern women who are forced to defend their home from the onslaught of a band of soldiers who have broken off from the fast approaching Union Army. Julia Hart has written the screenplay. Jordan Horowitz (The Kids Are All Right) is producing the project for Gilbert Films, alongside Matt Williams, David McFadzean (Where the Heart Is), Judd Payne & Dete Meserve (Bernie) for Wind Dancer Films. ‘L’arbitro’ Soundtrack Details

l-arbitroCinevox Record will release the official soundtrack album for the Italian/Argentinian comedy L’arbitro. The album features the film’s original music composed by Andrea Guerra (The Pursuit of Happiness, Hotel Rwanda). L’arbitro is directed by Paolo Zucca and stars Stefano Accorsi, Geppi Cucciari, Marco Messeri, Francesco Pannofino and Benito Urgu. Anderson (Resident Evil, AVP: Alien vs Predator, Mortal Kombat) and stars Kit Harington, Carrie-Anne Moss, Emily Browning, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Paz Vega, Jared Harris and Kiefer Sutherland. The movie follows an enslaved Celtic gladiator who falls in love with a noblewoman on the eve of a massive volcanic eruption that destroys Pompeii. The screenplay is written Lee Batchler & Janet Scott Batchler (Batman Forever) and Michael Robert Johnson (Sherlock Holmes). Anderson is also producing the Constantin Film and Impact Pictures production with Jeremy Bolt (Resident Evil series, Death Race), Robert Kulzer (The Mortal Instruments, Wrong Turn) and Don Carmody (Silent Hill, Goon). The film follows a young, lonely wife of a wealthy businessman who rents the lake house next door to a high-school student. mary-poppinsWalt Disney Records will release a new soundtrack album for Disney’s classic musical Mary Poppins. The 50th Anniversary Edition features the film’s original songs composed by Richard Sherman and Robert Sherman performed by the movie’s cast. Also included are previously unreleased Sherman Brothers demo recordings. The soundtrack will be released later this month and coincides with the 50th Anniversary Blu-ray and DVD release of the film to be released on December 10, 2013. Mary Poppins is directed by Robert Stevenson and stars Julie Andrews, Dick Van Dyke, David Tomlinson, Glynis Johns, Karen Dotrice and Matthew Garber. The show is created by by Aaron Zelman (Damages, The Killing) and stars Omar Epps, Matt Craven, Devin Kelley, Frances Fisher, Kurtwood Smith, Sam Hazeldine, Samaire Armstrong, Mark Hildreth and Landon Gimenez. The series centers on the people of Arcadia, MO, whose lives are forever changed when their deceased loved ones suddenly start to return. The album features the film’s original score composed by Roque Banos (Evil Dead, The Machinist, Sexy Beast).
