Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC nature documentary series Evolution. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Paul Saunderson (Love at First Sight, Trying, Fight or Flight, Three Identical Strangers, Human, Earth, The More You Ignore Me, Picture This,The Grand Duke of Corsica). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, July 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the German Netflix original film 23 000 Lives (23 000 Leben). The album features the movie’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Volker Bertelmann (All Quiet on the Western Front, Conclave, Lion, Adrift, Pressure, Dune: Prophecy, The Day of the Jackal, The Amateur, A House of Dynamite, One Life). Varèse Sarabande has announced the premiere vinyl release of the soundtrack album for Aardman & DreamWorks Animation’s 2005 feature Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit directed by Nick Park & Steve Box and starring Peter Sallis, Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter & Peter Kay. The album features the film’s original score composed by Julian Nott (who scored all the Wallace & Gromit shorts) and produced by Hans Zimmer, as well as additional music by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Gilded Age), Jim Dooley (Pushing Daisies, Obsessed, When a Stranger Calls), Lorne Balfe (who later co-scored the second Wallace & Gromit feature with Nott) and Alastair King (The Last Detective).
