Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the German Netflix original film The Birthday Gift (Das Geschenk). The album features the movie’s original music composed by Loy Wesselburg (The Invincibles, Messy Christmas, Komm näher, Lügen und andere Wahrheiten). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first and final track after the jump. The Birthday Gift is directed by Vanessa Jopp and stars Jeanne Goursaud, Edin Hasanović, Heiner Lauterbach, Sogol Faghani, Levin Wopp, Berit Künnecke, Enzo Brumm, Bastian Reiber, Amal Keller and Paul Henrich. The comedy takes place during a neatly curated children’s birthday that goes off the rails when an iffy gift and unruly guests launch world-view quarrels, family drama and amusing chaos.
