Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the western Jane Got a Gun. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lisa Gerrard (Whale Rider, Gladiator) and Marcello De Francisci (Samsara). The soundtrack will be released digitally on January 29, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Jane Got a Gun is directed by Gavin O’Connor (Miracle) and stars Natalie Portman, Joel Edgerton, Noah Emmerich, Rodrigo Santoro, Boyd Holbrook and Ewan McGregor. Bear McCreary Scoring ’10 Cloverfield Lane’
Bear McCreary has composed the music for the upcoming sci-fi mystery thriller 10 Cloverfield Lane. The film is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and stars John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Gallagher Jr. The movie is said to be related to Matt Reeves’ 2008 feature Cloverfield and follows a young woman who wakes up in a stranger’s basement after a car accident and is told her life was saved from a chemical attack that has left the outside uninhabitable. J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Trek, Super 8) is producing the project through his Bad Robots company with Lindsey Weber.

Sony Classical will release the first soundtrack album for the hit ITV/PBS period drama Mr. Selfridge. The album features selections of the original music from all four seasons of the show composed by Charlie Mole (An Ideal Husband, The Importance of Being Earnest, Dorian Gray, Dad’s Army). The soundtrack will be released on February 26, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Mr. Selfridge is created by Andrew Davies and stars Jeremy Piven, Amanda Abbington, Gregory Fitoussi, Tom Goodman-Hill, Trystan Gravelle, Katherine Kelly, Aisling Loftus, Aidan McArdle and Frances O’Connor. Lyle Workman is scoring the upcoming Netflix original series Love. The show is created by Judd Apatow (Trainwreck, Girls, Freaks and Geeks), Paul Rust (Pee-wee’s Big Holiday) and Lesley Arfin and stars Rust himself, Gillian Jacobs, Dave Allen, Steve Bannos, Chris Witaske and singer Chantal Claret. The comedy follows a nice guy and a brazen wild child as they navigate the exhilarations and humiliations of intimacy, commitment, and other things they were hoping to avoid. Apatow, Rust and Arfin are also executive producing the Legendary Television production with Brent Forrester (The Office).

The full details of the soundtrack album for the comic book movie Deadpool have been announced. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tom Holkenborg aka Junkie XL (Mad Max: Fury Road, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, 300: Rise of an Empire, Black Mass). Steven Price has signed on to score the upcoming comic book movie Suicide Squad. The film is written and directed by David Ayer (End of Watch, screenwriter of Training Day) and starsJared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Karen Fukuhara, Jay Hernandez, Adam Beach and Viola Davis. The movie is based on the DC Comics of the same title and centers on a secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency. Charles Roven (The Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel, Twelve Monkeys) is producing the project with Richard Suckle (American Hustle, Scooby-Doo).

He will continue to report directly to ASCAP EVP Membership, John Titta. LeMone has been heading ASCAP’s Film & TV department for more than six years, and attracted and developed such composers as Academy Award nominee Jóhann Jóhannsson (The Theory of Everything, Sicario), David Vanacore (Survivor, The Apprentice), Mark Williams (Who Wants to Be A Millionaire) and Jeff Lippencott (Master Chef, Shark Tank), among many others.
