Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1990 western Quigley Down Under directed by Simon Wincer and starring Tom Selleck, Laura San Giacomo and Alan Rickman. The album features the newly remastered original score from the film composed and conducted by Basil Poledouris (Conan the Barbarian, The Hunt for Red October, Starship Troopers, RoboCop, For the Love of the Game, The Blue Lagoon, Red Dawn). The CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and find out more about the soundtrack, which is being released to coincide with the movie’s 35th anniversary. The show is created by Peter Craig (The Batman, The Town) based on Dennis Tafoya’s book of the same name and stars Brian Tyree Henry, Wagner Moura, Marin Ireland, Nesta Cooper, Kate Mulgrew, Amir Arison and Ving Rhames. The crime drama  follows two long-time Philly friends and delinquents who pose as DEA agents to rob an unknown house in the countryside, when they unwittingly reveal and unravel the biggest hidden narcotics corridor on the Eastern Seaboard. Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original anime film The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep. The album features the movie’s original music is composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, Shadow and Bone, The Greatest Showman, Lady and the Tramp, Project Power, Spiderhead, The Raid: Redemption) who is also scoring Netflix’s The Witcher live-action series. Also included are three original songs co-written by Trapanese and performed by Joey Batey, Mallory Jansen and Christina Wren. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 11 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.
