A24 Music will release a soundtrack album for the comedy Friendship. The album features the film’s original music composed by Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, A Teacher, I’ll See You in My Dreams, Sorry for Your Loss, The Hero, Love Again, Divorce). Friendship is written and directed by Andrew DeYoung and stars Tim Robinson, Paul Rudd, Jack Dylan Grazer and Kate Mara. The movie tells the story of a suburban dad who falls hard for his charismatic new neighbor, but his attempts to make an adult male friend threaten to ruin both of their lives.The comedy, which premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, is being in released in select theaters this weekend by A24 before expanding nationwide on May 23.
