Mac Quayle has been hired to score the upcoming Fox series Scream Queens. The show is created by Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan & Brad Falchuk (Glee) and stars Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Oliver Hudson, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, Billie Lourd, Skyler Samuels, Lucien Laviscount, Diego Boneta, Glen Powell and Nasim Pedrad. The horror comedy anthology series’ first season will revolve around a college campus which is rocked by a series of murders. ‘Belle du Seigneur’ Soundtrack Announced

Caldera Records has announced a soundtrack album for the romantic drama Belle du Seigneur. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, 1408, Cold Mountain). Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC supernatural zombie apocalypse series In the Flesh. It was announced today that James Newton Howard is the recipient of this year’s Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award, which will be presented at the annual Hollywood in Vienna Concert Gala at Vienna Concert Hall on October 16, 2015 The Max Steiner Award honors extraordinary achievements within the genre of film music by the musical capital of Austria, Vienna. Previous recipients of the honor include James Horner, Alan Silvestri, Howard Shore, Randy Newman, Lalo Schifrin and John Barry. Howard has written numerous scores for films such as The Sixth Sense, Signs, King Kong, Maleficent, Pretty Woman, Waterworld, The Prince of Tides, The Village, The Fugitive, Dinosaur, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Hunger Games series. Hans Zimmer will serve as the executive music producer according to the film’s new international poster.
