Walt Disney Records will release a second soundtrack album for the the studio’s animated feature Wish. The Deluxe Edition all the original songs from the movie written by Julia Michaels & Benjamin Rice, as well instrumental versions and demo versions of the songs. Also included is the film’s original score composed by Dave Metzger (Brother Bear 2, Tarzan 2: The Legend Begins, Tarzan & Jane). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 22 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released the original soundtrack album featuring all original songs and four instrumental versions last Friday. The film is directed by Phil Traill (Single Drunk Female, All About Steve) and stars Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Lil Rel Howery, Jillian Bell, Alex R. Hibbert, Kamaia Fairburn, Elizabeth Hinkler, Fabrizio Guido, Emily Hinkler and Anabel Graetz. The sequel to the 1997 feature (scored by Stewart Copeland) based on a sketch from the Nickelodeon comedy series All That follows Dexter Reed and original cashier Ed as they reunite in the present day at fast-food restaurant Good Burger with a new group of employees. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fifth season composed by Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Discovery & PicardLegion, For All Mankind, The Night Of, The Man Who Fell to Earth, The Umbrella AcademyLucy in the Sky) who has received his first Emmy Award for his score from Season 3.
