Milan Records has released the first track from the soundtrack for the second season of the HBO original series The Last of Us. Available to stream/download now on most major digital music services is a new version of The Path (originally written for the 2013 video game) written by Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, Babel, The Book of Life, The Motorcycle Diaries) and performed by Tom Morello (of Rage Against the Machine). Also listen to the track after the jump. A full soundtrack album featuring more music from Season 2 is expected to be released in the coming weeks. The Last of Us is developed by Craig Mazin & Neil Druckmann and stars Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, Rutina Wesley, Kaitlyn Dever, Young Mazino, Isabela Merced, Ariela Barer, Spencer Lord, Tati Gabrielle, Danny Ramirez and Jeffrey Wright. Season 2 of the post-apocalyptic drama currently airs every Sunday night on HBO and is also available to stream on Max.
