Cristal Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Ice and the Sky (La Glace et le Ciel). The album features the film’s original music composed by Cyrille Aufort (Splice, A Royal Affair, Ombline). The soundtrack will be released overseas on October 16, 2015. Ice and the Sky is directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Luc Jacquet (March of the Penguins) and centers on glaciologist Claude Lorius who in 1957 began his study of Antarctic ice and in the 60s was the first to be concerned by global warming and its consequences for the planet.
