Earlier today, Ennio Morricone received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 87-year old composer was joined by director Quentin Tarantino, producer Harvey Weinstein and Los Angeles Italia Film Fashion and Art Fest founder Pascal Vicedomini. Sumthing Else Music Works will release a soundtrack album this year’s Cabin Fever remake. The album features the film’s original music composed by Kevin Riepl (Batman Unlimited, Silent Night, The Night Crew) who previously scored 2014’s Cabin Fever: Patient Zero. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 1, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Cabin Fever is directed by Travis Zariwny, executive produced by Eli Roth and stars Gage Golightly, Matthew Daddario, Nadine Crocker, Dustin Ingram, Samuel Davis and Randy Schulman. Heather McIntosh Scoring ‘Rainbow Time’

Heather McIntosh is composing the music for the upcoming indie comedy drama Rainbow Time. The film is written and directed by Linas Phillips and stars himself, alongside Melanie Lynskey, Timm Sharp, Tobin Bell, Lauren Weedman, Artemis Pebdani, Jay Duplass, Reagan Yates, Austin Fryberger and Robert Longstreet. The movie revolves around a developmentally delayed 40 year old man who is sent to live with his brother. Ian Michaels is producing the project. Mark & Jay Duplass (Cyrus, Jeff Who Lives at Home) serve as executive producers. McIntosh has previously scored last year’s Manson Family Vacation Rainbow Time produced by the Duplass brothers. ‘Fargo’ Season 2 Score Album Details

The details of the score soundtrack album for Year 2 of the FX original series Fargo have been revealed. The album features selections from the original music for the show’s second season composed by Jeff Russo (Power, Tut, CSI: Cyber, The Returned). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 25, 2016 by Sony Classical and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously reported, the label will also release a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the show’s second season on the same day. Sony Classical has previously also released a soundtrack featuring Russo’s music from the first season. Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny. The album features the film’s original music composed by Shigeru Umebayashi (House of Flying Daggers, In the Mood for Love, Curse of the Golden Flower, 2046). Pianist Lang Lang is featured as a soloist on the score. Also included is the original end credits song Eternal Breath co-written by the composer. Jeff Cardoni has signed on to score the upcoming comedy Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. The film is directed by Jake Szymanski and stars Zac Efron, Anna Kendrick, Adam Devine, Aubrey Plaza and Stephen Root. The movie follows two hard-partying brothers who place an online ad to find the perfect dates for their sister’s Hawaiian wedding and find themselves out-hustled by the uncontrollable duo. Andrew Jay Cohen & Brendan O’Brien (Neighbors) have written the screenplay. Peter Chernin (Rise/Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Oblivion), Jenno Topping (Spy, The Heat, St. Vincent)) and Jonathan Levine (Warm Bodies, 50/50, The Night Before) are producing the project. ‘Fuller House’ Theme Song to Be Released
