Opening in theaters nationwide this week is the animated feature Zootopia 2 directed by Jared Bush & Byron Howard and starring Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, Quinta Brunson, Fortune Feimster, Shakira, Ke Huy Quan, Macaulay Culkin, Patrick Warburton and Nate Torrence. The film’s original score is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Ratatouille, Lost, The Batman, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Jurassic World, Inside Out, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Incredibles, Star Trek). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the original song Zoo performed by Shakira last Friday. Also opening wide is the romantic comedy Eternity co-written and directed by David Freyne and starring Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen, Callum Turner, John Early, Olga Merediz and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. David Fleming (Superman, The Last of Us, The Alto Knights, Damsel, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Unforgivable, Jim Henson: Idea Man, Americana) has composed the film’s original music. A24 Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Wednesday. ‘Stone Creek Killer’ Soundtrack Released

Karam Salem (Young King, Woody Woodpecker, L.A. Rebellion: A Cinematic Movement, Chuggington) has released a soundtrack album for the psychological thriller Stone Creek Killer. The album features the composer’s original music from the film and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to Salem’s title track after the jump. Stone Creek Killer is directed by Robert Enriquez and stars Clayne Crawford, Britney Young, Vincent Washington, Lyndon Smith, Andrew J. West and Adam Hicks. The movie revolves around a small-town police chief who pursues a serial killer with help from a psychic, while fighting to prove his own innocence and facing his demons both past and present. ‘The War Between the Land and the Sea’ Soundtrack Album Details

The details of the soundtrack album for BBC’s Doctor Who spin-off series The War Between the Land and the Sea have been announced. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, Top Gun: Maverick, Black Adam, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, The Wheel of Time). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, December 5 by Silva Screen Records (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). An additional track, Alison Goldfrapp’s & Balfe’s cover of David Bowie’s Heroes, will be released the following Friday, December 12. A physical version will be coming out next year (visit Amazon to pre-order the CD edition). As previously reported, a first track (Barlcay’s Theme) is already available to stream/download now. ‘The Beatles Anthology’ Soundtrack Albums Released

Universal Music has released three soundtrack albums for Apple Corps’ remastered and expanded landmark, UK-produced original documentary series The Beatles Anthology. The albums featuring the Beatles songs from Episodes 1-3, Episodes 4-6 and Episodes 7-9 of the show are now available to stream on all major digital music services. Check out the track lists for each album below. The Beatles Anthology follows John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison & Ringo Starr as they revisit the highs and lows and twists and turns of The Beatles’ long and winding eight years as a band. The series was originally broadcast in 1995 in the U.S. on ABC and in the UK on ITV and has been restored and expanded from eight to nine episodes, including a footage restoration and sound mix overseen by the Apple Corps production team. Nina Becker’s & Marcelo Callado’s ‘Blues’ from Apple TV’s ‘Pluribus’ Released

Milan Records has released a new version of the song Blues by Brazilian artists Nina Becker & Marcelo Callado from the fifth episode (Got Milk) of the Apple TV original series Pluribus. The Pluribus Edit (produced by Becker & Callado and originally written for their collaboration album Gambito Budapeste) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music and can also be checked out after the jump. The label has previously released several songs from the show’s first four episodes as digital singles, as well as the first score album over the last couple of weeks. ‘Troll 2’ Soundtrack Album Released

Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Norwegian Netflix original film Troll 2. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Johannes Ringen (The Quake, The Arctic Convoy, Captain Fall,  The Burning Sea, La Palma, Cave, Asphalt Burning) who previously scored the 2022 original Troll film. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to two tracks from the composer’s score after the jump. Troll 2 is directed by Roar Uthaug and stars Ine Marie Wilmann, Sara Khorami, Mads Sjøgård Pettersen, Kim S. Falck-Jørgensen and Karoline Viktoria Sletteng Garvang. ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 – Vol. 1 Soundtrack Album Details

The details of the first volume of the soundtrack album for fifth season of the Netflix original series Stranger Things have been revealed. The album features eight songs from the first four episodes of the show’s final seasons, including Michael Jackson’s Rockin’ Robin, ABBA’s Fernando, The Psychedelic Furs’ Pretty in Pink, The Chordettes’ Mr. Sandman, Yello’s Oh Yeah, Tiffany’s I Think We’re Alone Now, The Chords’ Sh-Boom and Freddy Martin and His Orchestra’s To Each His Own. The Volume 1 soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 28 by Legacy Recordings (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download). The Volume 2 album will be coming out on December 26 and the Volume 3 soundtrack featuring the songs from the series finale will be released on January 1, 2026. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the British romantic period thriller Desperate Journey. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust,  Still Alice, Layer Cake, MobLand, Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, House of Guinness, The Young Victoria, Kick-Ass). Also included are several jazz tracks by Csengery Dániel, as well as actress Clara Rugaard’s renditions of A Spell on You and Made This Way. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 28 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to a track from Eshkeri’s score below. Desperate Journey is directed by Annabel Jankel and stars Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen, Rugaard, Til Schweiger, Steven Berkoff and Fernando Guallar. The movie written by Michael Radford & Alfred Christian tells the story of a young Jewish man who is forced to flee Vienna as the Nazis invade and finds unexpected refuge in a lavish burlesque club in 1940s Paris.
