Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the comedy drama Their Finest. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Rachel Portman (Emma, The Cider House Rules, Chocolat, A Dog’s Purpose, The Manchurian Candidate). Also included are a number of ‘pub classics’ performed by the film’s cast, including Bill Nighy’s rendition of Will You Go, Lassie, Go. Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the animated feature Smurfs: The Lost Village. The album features the film’s original score composed by Christopher Lennertz (Sausage Party, Horrible Bosses, Ride Along, Bad Moms, Baywatch). Also included is the original song You Will Always Find Me in Your Heart, which the composer co-wrote with singer/songwriter KT Tunstall. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, March 31 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Interscope Records will release a score album for the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Eskmo (Billions, The Master Cleanse). Also included is the original song Only You performed by Selena Gomez and produced by Eskmo. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow and can be pre-ordered now on Amazon. STX Entertainment announced today during the studio’s presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas that Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice are writing new songs for an upcoming film adaptation of the stage musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Also on board the project is Elton John who is producing the project for his Rocket Pictures company.
