WaterTower Music will release the first full soundtrack album for the CW drama Riverdale. The album features the songs from the show’s first season performed by the show’s cast members including KJ Apa, Ashleigh Murray, Asha Bromfield, Hayley Law and Camila Mendes. All songs except Astronaut and These Are the Moments I Remember have previously been released as digital singles. The soundtrack will be released digitally on Friday, May 12 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. As previously reported, a separate album featuring the show’s original score by Blake Neely will also be released soon. Lakeshore Records has announced the official soundtrack album for the comedy drama 3 Generations. The album features the film’s original score composed by West Dylan Thordson (Split, Foxcatcher, The Jinx). Also included is the original song Fit In written and performed by KT Tunstall, which is already available as a digital single. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 12 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. 3 Generations is co-written and directed by Gaby Dellal and stars Elle Fanning, Naomi Watts, Susan Sarandon, Sam Trammell, Linda Emond and Tate Donovan. The movie follows a New York teenager seeking to transition from female to male and the relationship with her single mother who is coming to terms with having to raise her only daughter as a son. Sony Classical will release a score album for the romantic drama Everything, Everything. The album features the film’s original score composed by Ludwig Goransson (Creed, Community, Fruitvale Station, Central Intelligence). Halli Cauthery has been tapped to compose the music for the upcoming Hulu original series Future Man. The show is created by Kyle Hunter & Ariel Shaffir (Sausage Party, The Night Before) and stars Josh Hutcherson, Eliza Coupe, Derek Wilson, Ed Begley Jr. and Glenne Headly. The comedy follows a janitor by day/world-ranked gamer by night who is tasked with preventing the extinction of humanity after mysterious visitors from the future proclaim him the key to defeating the imminent super-race invasion. EuropaCorp announced today that Alexandre Desplat is set to score the upcoming thriller Kursk. The film is directed by Thomas Vinterberg (The Hunt, Far from the Madding Crowd) and stars Matthias Schoenaerts, Colin Firth, Léa Seydoux, Peter Simonischek, Max Von Sydow and Michael Nyqvist. The movie is inspired by the true story of the K-141 KURSK, a Russian flagship nuclear-powered submarine that sank to the bottom of the Barents Sea in August 2000. Robert Rodat (Saving Private Ryan, The Patriot, Thor: The Dark World) wrote the screenplay.
