The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Sebastian Fillenberg (Blame Game, A Dysfunctional Cat, Wolke unterm Dach) & Marvin Miller (The Teachers’ Lounge, Balloon, Jim Button and the Wild 13, I Was, I Am, I Will Be). Premiering on Wednesday, January 24, is the National Geographic documentary series A Real Bug’s Life inspired by Pixar’s 1998 feature A Bug’s Life, narrated by Awkwafina and executive produced by Tom Hugh-Jones, Grant Mansfield and Martha Holmes. Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The Royal Tenenbaums, The LEGO Movie, 21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Last Man on Earth, The Croods: A New Age) has composed the show’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be released on Friday by Hollywood Records. Premiering on Thursday, January 25, is the Netflix limited series Griselda created by Doug Miro, Eric Newman, Ingrid Escajeda & Carlo Bernard and starring Sofía Vergara, Alberto Guerra, Martin Rodriguez, Juliana Aidén Martinez and Christian Tappan. The show’s original music is composed by Carlos Rafael Rivera (The Queen’s Gambit, Godless, Hacks, Lessons in Chemistry, A Walk Among the Tombstones, Just Beyond, Chupa). Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi thriller I.S.S. directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite and starring Ariana DeBose, Chris Messina, Pilou Asbæk, Masha Mashkova, John Gallagher Jr. and Costa Ronin. The film’s original music is composed by Anne Nikitin (American Animals, Fate: The Winx Saga, The Dropout, Mrs. Wilson, Lost Girls, Calibre, The Pale Horse, This Beautiful Fantastic). No soundtrack album has been announced. Opening in over 100 theaters today following an awards-qualifying release last month is the drama Origin written and directed by Ava DuVernay and starring Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Jon Bernthal, Vera Farmiga, Audra McDonald, Niecy Nash-Betts, Blair Underwood and Nick Offerman. Composer/songwriter and music producer Eldad Guetta (Press Play, Always Jane, Dirty Tricks) has been tapped to score the new Peacock original animated series In the Know. The show is created by Zach Woods, Brandon Gardner & Mike Judge (Beavis and Butt-Head, Office Space) and features the voices of Woods & Judge themselves, Caitlin Reilly, Charlie Bushnell, J. Smith-Cameron and Carl Tart. The adult animated comedy follows NPR’s third most popular host who also happens to be a stop motion puppet. Each episode follows the making of an episode of her show, in which she conducts in-depth interviews with real world human guests, including Kaia Gerber, Finn Wolfhard, Norah Jones, Tegan and Sara, Ken Burns, Nicole Byer, Roxane Gay, Mike Tyson and Hugh Laurie.
