WaterTower Music and La-La Land Records will release the second soundtrack album for the CW drama Supergirl. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Blake Neely (The Flash, Arrow, Riverdale, Legends of Tomorrow, Blindspot, Everwood). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow. A CD version is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Lakeshore Records has announced a special edition soundtrack for Todd Haynes’ drama Wonderstruck. The album features the film’s original music composed by Carter Burwell (FargoCarol, Being John MalkovichTwilightIn BrugesTrue Grit), including three additional bonus tracks not included on the regular release. The soundtrack will be released digitally exclusively on Amazon on October 20 and is now available for pre-order here. Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1988 comedy A Fish Called Wanda directed by Charles Crichton and starring John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline and Michael Palin. The album features the remastered and expanded original score from the MGM production composed by John Du Prez (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Meaning of Life), including over 30 minutes of previously unreleased music. Also included are alternates, unused cues and demos, as well as two unused versions of Wanda’s love song, one performed by Rick Driscoll and the other written and performed by John Cleese. Universal Music has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary Chasing Trane. The album features 11 tracks by the film’s subject, jazz saxophonist and composer John Coltrane. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on November 17, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Chasing Trane is directed by John Scheinfeld (The U.S. vs. John Lennon) and explores the global power and impact of Coltrane’s music and reveals the passions, experiences and forces that shaped his life and revolutionary sounds.
