K M Musiq has released a soundtrack album for the Arabic psychological fantasy thriller Baab. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire127 Hours, Lagaan, The Hundred-Foot Journey, Viceroy’s House). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Baab is directed by Nayla Al Khaja and stars Shaima Al Fadl, Huda Alghanem, Meera Al Midfa, Sabiha Majgaonkar, Mansoor Alnoamani and Mari Al Halyan. The movie revolves around a woman reeling from the sudden death of her twin sister who is drawn into a surreal world where grief takes on physical form. The thriller opened in UAE theaters this past January. No word on a domestic release.
