Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the British sci-fi drama The White King. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joanna Bruzdowicz (Vagabond, The Beaches of Agnes) and performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra. The soundtrack will be released on December 1, 2017. Check back on this page for the pre-order link. The White King is directed by Alex Helfrecht & Jörg Tittel and stars Lorenzo Allchurch, Jonathan Pryce, Agyness Deyn, Fiona Shaw, Greta Scacchi and Olafur Darri Olafsson. Victor Reyes is currently recording his score for the upcoming supernatural drama Down a Dark Hall. The film is directed by Rodrigo Cortes and stars AnnaSophia Robb, Isabelle Fuhrman, Noah Silver, Rosie Day and Uma Thurman. The movie is based on the 1974 novel by Lois Duncan and follows a boarding school student who confronts the darkly seductive powers of the headmistress and comes face to face with the supernatural abilities that could make her all-powerful or destroy her. Joseph Trapanese has signed on to score the upcoming USA drama Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac & The Notorious B.I.G. The show is developed by Kyle Long (Suits) and stars Josh Duhamel, Marcc Rose, Wavyy Jonez, Jimmi Simpson, Bokeem Woodbine, Jamie McShane, Brent Sexton, Luke James, Aisha Hinds and Letoya Luckett. The series chronicles the two major police investigations by LAPD Detective Greg Kading into the murders of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. Silva Screen Records will release a new soundtrack album for the British animated series Thunderbirds Are Go!. The album features music from the show composed by Ben Foster (Torchwood, Hidden Kingdoms, Scott & Bailey) and Nick Foster (The Cube). The Volume 2 soundtrack will be released overseas on November 24, 2017. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring selections of the composers’ score from the first season. Thunderbirds Are Go! based on characters by Gerry & Sylvia Anderson is based on the classic 1960s adventure series and features the voices of Rosamund Pike, Thomas Sangster, Rasmus Hardiker, David Menkin, Kayvan Novak and David Graham. Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary Kedi. The album features the film’s original music composed by Kira Fontana. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 10, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Kedi is directed by Ceyda Torun and explores the hundreds of thousands of cats roaming the metropolis of Istanbul freely – a tradition that dates back thousands of years.
