Quartet Records will release a soundtrack album for the Spanish supernatural thriller Mirage (Durante la tormenta). The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Fernando Velazquez (The Impossible, Crimson Peak, Mama, The Orphanage, Hercules, A Monster Calls). To order the CD version, which is coming out this Friday, and to check out audio samples, visit the label’s official website. Mirage is directed by Oriol Paulo (The Invisible Guest, Julia’s Eyes) and stars Adriana Ugarte, Chino Darín, Javier Gutiérrez and Nora Navas. The movie revolves around a happily married mother whose life turns into a nightmare when in the attempt to avoid a crime ends up provoking a series of chain reactions that change her life completely. The thriller was released in Spanish theaters last fall. No word yet on a domestic release.
