Trevor Morris is currently recording his score for the upcoming action thriller Hunter Killer.The film is directed by Donovan Marsh (Avenged) and stars Gerard Butler, Gary Oldman, Common, Gabriel Chavarria and Michael Nyqvist. The movie centers on an untested American captain who teams with Navy Seals for a mission to rescue the Russian president. Peter Craig (The Town) and Jamie Moss (Ghost in the Shell) have written the screenplay based on the novel Firing Point by George Wallace and Don Keith. ‘Call the Midwife’ Seasons 4-7 Soundtrack to Be Released

A new soundtrack album will be released for the BBC drama Call the Midwife. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh season composed by Maurizio Malagnini (The Paradise, The C Word, Peter & Wendy). Marvel Music and Hollywood Records will release the official soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Ready Player One, Cast Away) who has previously scored the original 2012 Avengers movie, as well as Captain America: The First Avenger. Germaine Franco has been hired to score the upcoming comedy Tag. The film is directed by Jeff Tomsic and stars Ed Helms, Jeremy Renner, Hannibal Buress, Annabelle Wallis, Isla Fisher, Jake Johnson, Jon Hamm, Rashida Jones and Leslie Bibb. The movie is based on a true story featured in the Wall Street Journal about a group of friends who have been playing a no-holds-barred version of the children’s game Tag for the last 30 years. Mark Steilen and Rob McKittrick have written the screenplay. Steilen is also producing the New Line Cinema production with Todd Garner (Knight and Day, Paul Blart: Mall Cop). Intrada Records has announced the world premiere release of the score for Disney’s 2004 animated comedy Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers directed by Donovan Cook. Academy Award nominee Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Young Sherlock Holmes, Rescuers Down Under, Lost in Space, Tombstone, Homeward Bound) has composed and conducted the film’s original music. The album features Broughton’s score, including music not used in the final version of the movie, as well as the songs from the film that were featured on the original 2004 soundtrack album released by Walt Disney Records. Nicholas Britell is reuniting with director Barry Jenkins on the upcoming drama If Beale Street Could Talk. The movie is written and directed by Jenkins and stars KiKi Layne, Stephan James, Colman Domingo, Pedro Pascal, Brian Tyree Henry, Dave Franco, Ed Skrein, Teyonah Parris, Finn Wittrock, Aunjanue Ellis and Regina King. The movie is based on the 1974 James Baldwin novel of the same nam and revolves around a newly engaged Harlem woman who races against the clock to prove her lover’s innocence while carrying their first child to term. Jenkins is also producing the project with Plan B Entertainment’s Brad Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner & Dede Gardner (12 Years a Slave, Selma).
