Roc Chen (The Wandering Earth, 7 Guardians of the Tomb, Chinese Zodiac, Switch, Stoker Hills, Sacrifice) will release a soundtrack album for the Chinese sports comedy Pegasus 2. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and will be released digitally tomorrow, February 11 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also check out Chen’s main theme below. Pegasus 2 is written and directed by Han Han and stars Shen Teng, Zheng Yin, Benyu ZHang, Chengcheng Fan and Xiang Wei. The sequel to the 2019 hit movie follows former champion driver Zhang Chi as he has become a driving school instructor to make ends meet, when he gets offered to form a new team to compete in the last Bayinbrook Rally. Opening semi-wide in around 550 theaters is the British horror thriller Out of Darkness directed by Andrew Cumming and starring Chuku Modu, Safia Oakley-Green, Iola Evans, Kit Young, Luna Mwezi and Arno Lüning. Together with French musician/composer Wally Badarou (Countryman, Boesman and Lena, The Lunatic), he has co-scored the Mati Diop-directed movie, which follows the French/Senegalese filmmaker as she explores the issue of colonization through the story of 26 precious artworks restituted to Benin in late 2021 after being stolen by French colonizers in 1892, when the African country was called the Kingdom of Dahomey.
